Ben Garrity takes top prizes at 2022 Port Vale player of the year awards
Midfielder Ben Garrity has won three top awards at the 2022 Port Vale player of the year awards.
Summer signing Garrity was named the Fans’ player of the year, the Supporters Club player of the year and the Players’ player of the year. It is due reward for the all-action midfielder who netted twelve times during Vale’s promotion campaign.
Striker Jamie Proctor won the Goal of the Season award for his outstanding scissor-kick volley against Sutton United at Vale Park.
Goalkeeper Aidan Stone, the hero of the play-off shootout win over Swindon Town was named the Young Player of the Year. Meanwhile, club captain Tom Conlon, who has been outstanding behind the scenes, was named Club Player of the Year.
Striker James Wilson was crowned the season’s top goalscorer while youngster Tommy McDermott was named Youth player of the Year.
