Port Vale coach departs to take up role at Besiktas
Port Vale coach Adam Murray has left his temporary role with the Valiants to take up the assistant manager role at Besiktas.
Murray was brought into the Vale coaching team earlier this year after manager Darrell Clarke took bereavement leave.
He appears to have had a positive affect on the side with the Vale losing just once during Murray’s brief spell with the club.
Murray links up again with former West Brom manager Valerien Ismael who has landed the Besiktas job. He worked with Ismael during a spell with Championship side West Brom.
Following the understandable absence of Clarke, assistant Andy Crosby has taken interim control of the Valiants assisted by Murray and Dean Whitehead.
