More in him – Andy Crosby praises man of the match Ben Garrity
Port Vale assistant manager Andy Crosby thinks midfielder Ben Garrity can improve even more after his two goal match winning display on Saturday.
Summer signing Garrity found the net twice as he took his tally to ten goals for the club. It marks an impressive start for a player who was playing in the Northern Premier League Premier Division as recently as 2020.
I think there is more in him. His game is developing, he has obvious attributes in terms of his energy but I think that may be a slight on him because he has more than that as well…
Speaking to the media, Crosby said: “Ben Garrity is an incredible example of someone whose journey has been slightly different. He hasn’t come through the system from a young age.
“He has had to fight and scrap for everything he has got. He does what he does out there every single day. He does everything he can to try to improve.
“He should be an inspiration to the group, having got ten goals already.
