Port Vale linked with Ipswich Town goalkeeper
Ipswich Town blog TWTD says that Port Vale have spoken to the League One side about a loan move for goalkeeper Tomas Holy.
Football Insider reported Vale’s interest in Holy earlier this afternoon and TWTD can confirm that they have made an approach to sign the Czech on loan and that it is possible a deal could be done before Monday’s 11pm deadline.
The Valiants have two goalkeepers on their books with Aidan Stone currently in the starting eleven. Rival Lucas Covolan was criticised by manager Darrell Clarke after a red card against Swindon Town, the second dismissal of the season for the summer signing.
Holy began his career in the Czech Republic before a move to Gillingham where he made over 150 appearances. He joined Ipswich in 2019 but has made just three appearances for his parent club this season.
