Port Vale confirm the signing of defender Chris Hussey
Port Vale have confirmed the signing of Cheltenham Town defender Chris Hussey for an undisclosed fee.
The experienced defender had been widely linked with a move to the Valiants in recent days.

Port Vale Football Club is delighted to confirm that Chris Hussey has joined the club from Cheltenham Town for an undisclosed fee.
The 33-year-old defender, who has made 498 career appearances, will be the third recruit to join the Valiants in the January transfer window.
Hussey’s youth career was spent at Brentford and Woking before moving to AFC Wimbledon in 2007.
After 70 appearances in the conference with The Dons, Chris earnt a move to Coventry City of the Championship, initially on a loan spell, he moved there permanently in January of the 2009/10 season.
Chris has also featured for Burton, Bury, Sheffield United and Swindon Town before moving to the Johnny-Rocks Stadium in May 2018.
Hussey won The Robins’ Goal of the Season award in the 2019/20 season after scoring a left footed free kick against Colchester United.
