I’m not interested in personal – Darrell Clarke on Port Vale’s game against Walsall

Port Vale manager Darrell Clarke says he wants to “win the game, end of” as Port Vale take on his former club Walsall on Tuesday night.

There will be focus on Clarke as his Port Vale team take on his former club. The Valiants agreed a compensation package to take Clarke from Walsall last season. However, the Valiants boss says it isn’t about him.

He told the media: “I’m not interested in personal. I’m a Port Vale manager and proud to be Port Vale manager I used to be Walsall manager. For me, I don’t give a monkey’s about that.

“I want to win the game, end of. That’s what my players will be doing – trying to perform as professionally was we can to win the game.”
