Plenty of positives to take from that even if we did lose – you cant do anything about poor refereeing…

Happy with that tonight bar the ref performance. How was that a penalty? 3-5-2 looked decent first half and second half change to 4-4-2 when 2-0 down we looked really dangerous. Final ball just not quite there and not clinical enough but overall some good performances. Huge improvement from Saturday and very encouraging…

Thoroughly enjoyed that. Looked much more of a threat when we switched to 442. Love Amoo when he’s in that type of mood. Garrity impressed me greatly. Pett did well. Jones a joy to watch. Very unlucky not to take it to penalties and may well have done but for an absolutely shocking peno award…

Plenty of positives from that second half. We looked far more threatening going forward when Amoo came on and we reverted to 4-4-2. Amoo offers something different to the rest of the squad and I still think he’s a key player. I also thought Garrity and Pett looked a lot more comfortable playing as a two in central midfield. …

They worked really hard tonight. Certainly we deserved something from it. After seeing that fight, spirit and some decent football, I remain optimistic. Even though we’ve got a tough start, I reckon the the first winning isn’t far off! Amoo had a big impact when he came on. Really good to see him back…

Played OK first half, not great, didn’t deserve to be behind at half-time. I’d like to see our disallowed goal again because it looked to me like their keeper just dropped the ball, but I wasn’t 100%. Second-half when we switched to 4-4-2 we absolutely battered them, deserved a win easily. Impressed with Jones and Pett in particular but I thought everyone played fairly well.
Powerline
Decent performance overall. Much improved once Amoo came on and we changed formation. We didn’t get the rub if the green on numerous occasions, not only the officials but the run of the ball at times. If I was being critical I’d say we were guilty of wasting too many decent chances, not hitting the target and working the keeper…

I think when it properly clicks we’ll be a very decent side. I was impressed with a lot of our players tonight but especially Proctor, Jones and Pett. Two of those I wasn’t really expecting much from either…
eh up nah
Once Amoo came on we were the better side. Terrible decision for the pen and why was our goal chalked off when their keeper flapped it out? Proctor did well…

Why wasn’t the ref reported or why surely he must be made to answer to his mistakes and the fans ought to hear his response dontwant him through the gates at vale park again
