Cass was fantastic and he simply must start now going forward. We definitely can’t afford another half like the first one at Forest Green Rovers as they will tear us to shreds…

I’m not terribly happy with the start we’ve made and particularly with the wretched 3-5-2 – or should I say 5-3-2 system – but we have to be a bit more patient. It’s going to take time for this side to settle down and gain some momentum. Already, a few players who’ve had a ropey start seem to be the targets of particular criticism. It’s not going to help them one little bit if the crowd starts to get on their back. So, let’s cut them some slack, be a bit more patient and get behind the manager and the team as a whole – it’s a long season!

Don’t know why some people are hitting the panic button already. We’ve basically rebuilt our entire squad, it’s going to take time. There’s promising signs with our good defensive record, and we’ve played quite well and just been unlucky. And as others have said, it doesn’t help players to be abusing them in the ground…

Still keeping the faith and maintain that we have better players all over the pitch but the first 45 minutes today was really awful. For me that looked like 5-3-2 formation, with Worrall looking like he was playing in the midfield three until the second half. Second half much better but still lacking that bit of quality. I don’t buy that we had a really tough stuff as made out, Carlisle and Stevenage are two bang average mid-table sides, they will not be challenging at the end of the season…

I’ll take that after that first half. Set up wrong again. Always a worrying sign when nobody has a clue what formation we’re playing! Second half much better, bringing Garrity on did change the game. Shame about Legge and hope it’s not a bad one, but I though Martin did well when he came on…

If ever there was a game of two halves, that was it. Very poor and open first half, yet I thought we were much the better side in the second, which coincided with the change in system and intro of Garrity. Probably should have won it by the end. Cass excellent today. Gibbons has real competition if that’s anything to go by. Defence solid again, and their goal was from a set piece. Garrity played well. Wilson had a couple of chances. Rodney really needs to look up sometime…

Much better second half where I felt we where the better team. I think that was more like us. All the subs had a positive impact on the game which shows the strength of depth we have now. We just need players to show more desire to attack balls in the box before we are going to score more frequently.

Great point after the first half performance. Martin looked decent after he replaced Legge. Still powder puff upfront. Hopefully we will get another striker in before the window shuts…

Looked lots better when Garrity came on, and Procter looked better than Wilson. Good point but very frustrating we aren’t converting the chances we create. We need a Foyle or Naylor up front…
