Fleetwood Town 1-0 Port Vale friendly match report
Devante Rodney hit the bar twice as a host of Port Vale players featured during Port Vale’s 1-0 loss to Fleetwood Town in a pre-season friendly game.
The game was played at the Fleetwood training ground and was switched to 120 minutes with four periods of 30 minutes each.
First 30 minutes
It finished goalless after the first thirty minutes in an even affair. Vale threatened first through David Amoo before the home side hit the post and then had another effort cleared off the line by Martin.
Second 30 minutes
Vale made no changes for the second period and Proctor headed over the bar before Rossiter gave the home side the lead on 41 minutes.

Third 30 minutes
The Valiants made three changes bringing on Lennon, Rodney and Wilson. It saw Rodney hit the bar before Vale made a host of further changes on 75 minutes including game time for trialists Griffith and Solanke.
Fourth 30 minutes
The Valiants brought on goalkeeper Lucas Covolan for his first game for the club. In the closing stages, Devante Rodney hit the bar for a second time and Leon Legge netted only to be flagged offside.

What has happened to Jake Taylor? is he injured?. He should be playing as he is one of Vale’s best players potentially
