Port Vale League squad – Visser out, Robinson returns
Port Vale League squad: the Valiants have confirmed their 22 man League squad for the rest of the season as goalkeeper Dino Visser misses out and Theo Robinson returns.
Visser has picked up an injury which rules him out for the rest of the season and with Tom Scott as back-up for Scott Brown, the summer signing has unfortunately missed out. Visser’s pain is Theo Robinson’s gain as the summer signing returns to the squad.
CEO Colin Garlick confirmed the news to the Sentinel saying: “under the squad system, making that decision on Dino left us with a gap. So, the most sensible thing to do was to bring one of the other players in.”
The squad only includes players aged over 22 so January signings Will Swan and Mustapha Olagunju do not count.
However, duo Dan Trickett-Smith and Harry McKirdy are the two players who are out of the squad for the remainder of the season.
