Port Vale stand-in manager Frank Sinclair has made two changes to his starting eleven for the visit to Scunthorpe United.
Alex Hurst and Mark Cullen both start as Luke Joyce and David Amoo miss out and drop to the bench.
The formation appears to be 4-4-2 with Cullen supporting recent signing Kurtis Guthrie.
New goalkeeping signing Tom Scott makes the bench.
