Port Vale defender goes out on loan
Port Vale have confirmed that teenaged defender Ryan Campbell-Gordon has moved to Gainsborough Trinity on loan.
Campbell-Gordon has just completed a spell at Hednesford Town and has now moved on to a club in the National League North – one step further up the non-league pyramid.
The left-back has already had loan spells at Ilkeston Town and Kidsgrove Athletic during the 2019-20 season. He has also made two senior appearances for the Valiants.
A press release confirmed:
Port Vale defender, Ryan Campbell-Gordon, has signed for Gainsborough Trinity on a short-term loan move following the conclusion of his loan to Hednesford Town FC.
The 19-year-old, who has made two first team appearances for the Vale since signing his professional contract in 2019, was recalled from his loan to Hednesford Town following an injury and change in management at The Pitmen.
His move to The Holy Blues is set to last until January with the option to be recalled.
