Humbling – Port Vale owners thankful after buoyant season ticket sales
Port Vale owners Carol and Kevin Shanahan have said that the latest news on Port Vale season ticket sales is humbling.
The “early bird” period for season ticket sales ended today and following sales of 3,431 tickets, chair Carol Shanahan issued a statement on social media.
She revealed that sales were just a hundred down on the sales for the entirety of last summer and “we are confident we will surpass in the coming weeks.”
She added that “Kevin, I and the rest of the club are overwhelmed and beyond grateful in the trust and support we have been shown by Port Vale fans” and that “I would just like to reiterate our thanks and appreciation for the support you have all shown. It is, to use Kevin’s word, humbling.”
