Things have gone quite well – Port Vale boss gives contract talks update
Port Vale manager John Askey says he is confident that club captain Leon Legge will join the ranks of players to agree new contracts with the club.
The experienced central defender has been a near ever-present this season making 41 appearances and scoring four times.
Things have gone quite well so hopefully he will be another one that we can cross off for next season…
The Valiants have already secured the futures of David Worrall and Scott Burgess on long-term deals with Luke Joyce and James Gibbons also indicating that they are set to commit their future to the club. The signature of Legge would also be a major boost.
