Port Vale have brought back defender Nathan Smith and striker Mark Cullen into their starting eleven for the match against Colchester United.

The Valiants will be missing James Gibbons, Mitch Clark and Tom Pope who are all suspended.

A strong bench includes Manny Oyeleke, Richie Bennett and Will Atkinson.
