Reports suggest David Worrall is close to agreeing a new Port Vale contract
The Stoke Sentinel newspaper reports that Port Vale FC are close to agreeing a new contract with key forward David Worrall. Worrall is one of a number of players out of contract at the end of the season.
Worrall was signed in 2017 by former manager Michael Brown and has made over a hundred appearances for the club.
He fell out of favour under former manager Neil Aspin but since returning to the side he has arguably been one of the club’s best players.
An extended contract for Worrall would hand the club a huge boost and could encourage more of the players out of contract in the summer – including Leon Legge, Nathan Smith and James Gibbons – to also commit their future to the club.
