Exceptionally well – Port Vale coach praises winger’s form
Port Vale coach Danny Pugh has praised Rhys Browne for his recent good form for the club. Pugh said that Browne had done “exceptionally well” in recent games.
The winger was a summer signing for John Askey but endured a frustrating start to his Vale Park stay with injuries and then being unable to force his way into the starting eleven.
However, an injury to David Amoo gave Browne his chance and he has impressed Pugh in recent games.
He has done exceptionally well over the past couple of games…
Pugh told a media conference: “He has done exceptionally well over the past couple of games.
“I think there’s no doubting Rhys’ ability and he’ll tell you himself it’s been a frustrating season for him.
“He’s maybe not played as much as he would like but he’s come in over the last couple of games and shown people what he can do, with the level of performances he’s put in, even after being out of the team.”
