Port Vale have been linked with Nottingham Forest defender Jordan Gabriel after the BBC reported that the defender is training with the club.
The Valiants signed Jake Taylor after a similar spell of training with the club and have strong links with Nottingham Forest. Agent Phil Sproson is friends with Forest coach (and former Vale loanee) Gary Brazil – a relationship which also saw Adam Crookes join the Valiants.
21 year-old Gabriel can play as a right-back or centre-half. Vale have a vacancy at the back after extending Kieran Kennedy’s loan spell with Wrexham.
He has made one senior appearance for Forest as a sub in a League Cup game against Arsenal.
