Port Vale are fined by the FA for incident at Leyton Orient
The FA have handed Port Vale a fine after an on-field incident during the dramatic 3-3 draw with Leyton Orient.
Both clubs were charged with failing to ensure players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour.
The FA has fined both sides after the incident with Orient being fined £2,000 and Port Vale fined £1,750.
The incident concerned an on-field “melee” which was sparked when Vale’s James Gibbons reacted after Orient’s Conor Wilkinson went down in the box.
The match itself ended in a 3-3 draw.
