Port Vale coach says there are both positives and frustration
The Valiants are yet to win this season but coach Dave Kevan says there are “positives” but the Vale have to “capitalise” on their good spells.
After two draws in League Two, Vale lost to Burton Albion in the Carabou Cup and Kevan told the official website: “We’ve had a lot of positives but there’s been a little bit of frustration as well. Saturday was a frustrating afternoon in terms of feeling like we did enough in the second half.
“Tonight again we felt at times we were in the ascendancy but just didn’t really capitalise on it. Whether that be poor selection of delivery, pass or good goalkeeping.
“The signs are there that we’re going to give teams a right game and if we’re always in the game then you’ve always got a chance of winning it.”
