The classic example of a football journeyman, former Valiant Kaid Mohamed has now made twenty eight moves during a fifteen year playing career.
His time at Port Vale
Mohamed’s time at Vale Park was an unusual one. Signed in 2013 on a two-year contract, he was dropped after just six appearances and spent the rest of his two years loaned out to the likes of Wimbledon, Bristol Rovers and Northampton Town. He was released in 2015.
His move to Vale was the fourteenth of his career but there’s still be time for many more since he exited the Valiants. In addition to the three loan moves, Mohamed has had spells with (deep breath) Port Talbot Town, Accrington Stanley, Bath City, Eastleigh, Tamworth, Kettering Tow, Weston-super-Mare, Wealdstone, Bath City (again), Chippenham Town and can now be found at Harfordwest County in the Welsh Football League Division One.
He’s still going strong at the age of 34 with six appearances for Haverfordwest last season.
His journeyman career has now taken in 28 moves including two spells at Cwybran Town, two spells at Llanelli, Two spells with Carmathen Town and three spells with Bath City.
