Port Vale have revealed that they have sold over 3,000 season tickets with days of the early day period still remaining.
The club told the Sentinel newspaper that they had sold 3,075 by Friday evening.
The club is also not including hospitality box sales in the figure – unlike other recent seasons.
Last season’s total was 3,500 and with two days left in the early bird period plus sales after that still to come, that figure should be comfortably broken this season.
It will be good news for new owners Carol and Kevin Shanahan as they aim to rebuild the club.
