Could Mitch Clark come to Port Vale for a second loan spell?

Mitch Clark’s agent has hinted that the player may be loaned to Port Vale again if he is taken on by a higher league club.

Clark had a successful spell at Vale Park last season but he was released by parent club Aston Villa at the end of the season.

His agent, Lee Marsh says that clubs in higher divisions are interested in Clark but the Sentinel newspaper suggests that any club purchasing the defender could opt to loan him to the Valiants next season.

Marsh told the Sentinel: “Nothing is ruled out at the moment and I certainly wouldn’t want to burn a bridge with John Askey or Port Vale because they were very good to him.”
