Port Vale agree deal with veteran defender
Port Vale have announced that veteran defender Leon Legge has agreed a one-year extension to his contract.
Legge joins David Worrall in committing his future to the club in the wake of the takeover by Carol and Kevin Shanahan.
Legge told the official Port Vale website: “With the Shanahans taking over and Askey in charge, there’s a lot to look forward to at Port Vale. It’s really exciting times and I want to be a part of that.
“I can’t wait to get back into the thick of things next month when we return for the summer and get prepared for the new season.”
Legge made 37 appearances last season, scoring once in a win over local rivals Crewe.
