New owners praise Port Vale CEO Colin Garlick
Port Vale owners Carol and Kevin Shanahan have praised CEO Colin Garlick and called him a “superb servant” of the club.
Garlick played a key role in the negotiations and also earned praise from the Port Vale Supporters Club for attending meetings to update fans on news.
He’s always been available to speak to during the process and I’m really looking forward to working with him. I think it will be really good to start putting some of his ideas into place…
Garlick was criticised by former owner Norman Smurthwaite who claimed it was Garlick’s decision to appoint Michael Brown as manager but it looks like the new owners will listen to Garlick’s input and ideas more positively.
The Shanahans told the official Port Vale website: “We must talk about Colin Garlick because he’s been a superb servant for Port Vale begins the scenes, he’s been absolutely amazing and he’s worked night and day on it.
