Trialist scores as Port Vale Reserves lose a thriller
Trialist Jordan Clarke and Danny Elliott (2) scored as Port Vale Reserves lost 3-4 to Doncaster Rovers.
Vale were grateful to goalkeeper Sam Hornby for a string of saves while recent signing Danny Elliott showed his promise by hitting the target twice.
Clark, who has joined on trial from Solihull Moors also found the target but a strong Vale side including Theo Vassell, Dan Turner, Mark Harris and Toby Edser eventually lost out 4-3.
Who is Jordan Clarke?
The 19 year-old forward progressed through the Solihull Academy system and spent last season playing on loan for Hednesford Town.
