On-loan Port Vale defender says permanent move is a “good option”
Mitch Clark says he will keep his options open as his contract with Aston Villa expires at the end of the season.
The defender is hoping for talks with his parent club at the end of the season but he has not ruled out a permanent move to the Valiants.
It is a good option for me so I will keep all my options open, especially at Vale…
Vale have expressed tentative interest in a player who has largely been a regular pick since joining on loan.
Clark told the media: “With being here all season, I know the lads, I know what they are about and I know what they are going to be doing next season. It is a good option for me so I will keep all my options open, especially at Vale.”
“I have played more league games than I thought. I have enjoyed it. I had a bit of a bad spell before I came out of the team, but I came back in and hopefully have shown people what I can do.”
