Keeper Scott Brown named as official Port Vale player of the 2018-19 season
Port Vale goalkeeper Scott Brown has been crowned as the club’s player of the season at the official player of the year awards night.
The summer signing won four awards on the night while veteran striker Tom Pope was awarded three.

Goalkeeper Brown was a hugely popular winner of the official player of the year award. Manager John Askey paid tribute commenting: “Since I have been in he has been unbelievable. The save against Mansfield might be the biggest save anybody has ever made for the football club.”
Brown also won the Official Away Travel Player of the Year award, the Players’ Player of the Year award and the official Port Vale Supporters Club award, which was renamed this year after the late Errol Yorke.
Brown commented that it was an honour to receive an award named after the much-missed supporter.

Nathan Smith – the young player of the year.
