Synectics Solutions to table new bid for Port Vale FC as soon as possible
Synectics Solutions owners Carol and Kevin Shanahan are set to table a new offer for the football club.
A £3,5m bid from the couple was recently turned down but in light of Norman Smurthwaite’s extraordinary comments that the club would go into administration if new owners were not in place by May, they are tabling a new offer.
Smurthwaite said CEO Colin Garlick will handle any offers and the couple will speak to him shortly.
They told the Sentinel: “We were most concerned to hear Norman’s call to Praise and Grumble after yesterday’s match.
“We both felt that it is in the best interests of everybody connected with Port Vale Football Club that this matter is resolved as soon as possible to avoid the threat of the club being placed into administration.
“To this end we will be in contact with Colin Garlick as soon as possible.”
