Port Vale Supporters club announce protest details and appeal for funds
The official Port Vale Supporters Club have announced details of Saturday’s protests and also publicised a URL where fans can donate towards protest materials.
An email from Supporters Club chair Mark Porter says:
The plan for this Saturday is to continue with the red card protest and we are encouraging fans to bring the red cards with them and to show them
- before the match,
- as the players leave for half time
- and when they return to field for the second half.
Porter added that: “The fans have been immense during the protests despite strong feelings, the peaceful nature of the protests has been praised. This is a credit to all Vale fans.”
The email also disclosed details of a funding page where fans can contribute to the cost of future protests. The link is here
