Double summer signing as Vale eye Aston Villa and Nottm Forest loanees?
Port Vale assistant manager Dave Kevan has said that the club would be interested in loanees Mitch Clark and Adam Crookes.
Clark, on loan from Aston Villa for the season, has impressed in a right-back or right wing-back role while Janaury addition Crookes has also shone as a left-sided central defender or full-back.
It is something that we would definitely be thinking about…
Both players are out of contract with their respective parent clubs Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest in the summer.
Kevan told the media: “Mitch has done well recently and it is a similar situation to Adam Crookes. Whether we could prolong their time with us, it is something that we would definitely be thinking about.”
Earlier this week Crookes told the media: “I think at my age, 21, obviously now I am looking to cement myself in a first-team, so game time does play a big part. But you have to consider a lot of things, so it will be a case of sitting down and considering my options and seeing where we go from there.”
