Vote: were Port Vale right to issue a statement complaining about decisions not going their way?
Port Vale have taken the unusual step of issuing a statement complaining about a “long list of big decisions that have gone against the Vale this campaign.”
The statement has been ridiculed by opposition fans while many Vale fans have said the statement smacks of desperation as the club seeks to deflect the blame from an awful season. However, other Vale fans have defended the decision saying the club is right to point out the litany of poor decisions suffered by the Valiants.

The question is not whether Port Vale are right or not – but what c possibly be gained from this ? Without close examination of all the incidents, it is not possible to say f the complaints from the club are justified or not.
Some things are certain though – firstly, there is zero chance of getting a decision changed now, and secondly the statement could alienate many people and will get no sympathy and probably ridicule and disdain.
Whoever was behind the decision to issue this is naïve at best, and lacks understanding of human nature – either that or it is someone who wishes to deflect discussion from the protests and appallingly shabby running of the club perhaps.
