Port Vale top-scorer is ruled out for up to six weeks
Port Vale coach Lee Nogan has confirmed to the media that striker Tom Pope will be missing for four to six weeks.
Pope was forced off during the home defeat to Colchester United with a hamstring injury.
The veteran is this season’s top-scorer and is undoubtedly one of the first names on the Vale starting eleven.
In Pope’s absence, Ricky Miller started upfront against Crawley Town.
Vale have also added relative unknown forward Danny Elliott to their squad.
