Port Vale sign Cardiff City striker on loan
Port Vale sign Mark Harris: the Valiants have confirmed the signing of Cardiff City striker Mark Harris on loan.
An official Port Vale FC statement confirmed the move saying:
Port Vale are delighted to announce the signing of young Cardiff City striker, Mark Harris, on loan until the end of the season.
Harris arrives at the club having already gained plenty of experience at this level during his time at Newport County, where the 20 year old made 16 appearances and scored twice.
The young striker will be available for selection for this weekend when we host Carlisle United at Vale Park.
His arrival on loan makes him Neil’s third signing of the transfer window, and the gaffer is please to have been able to get Mark to the club.
“Mark comes highly recommended. He’s experienced in this league and hopefully he can offer a goal threat. He is a striker but is comfortably playing in several positions up front.
Harris is the Valiants’ third signing of the January transfer window following the additions of defender Adam Crookes and striker Danny Elliott earlier in the month.
