The Port Vale Foundation have launched a string of family-friendly initiatives for the remainder of the season.
It includes a creche and a family zone with activities.
A press release said:
Port Vale Foundation is pleased to announce that a family zone will now run pre match during all Saturday home fixtures for the remainder of the season. The Children’s Centre situated in the Lorne Street stand will be open for this weekend’s game v Colchester United
The family zone is available to both Port Vale and visiting supporters of all ages attending the games to come by and enjoy some pre match activities.
Each home game will see the Foundation invite various local partners to engage with supporters. This weekend will see Everyone Health support join us.
Everyone Health will be providing free mini MOT tests for all adults while your children take part in the Fan zone activities. They will also be providing free support, information and goodies to motivate you to stay healthy and reach your new year goals.
The family zone will be open from 1:30pm – 2:45pm which will also include;
- Face painting
- Games consoles
- Arts and crafts
- Appearance from Boomer.
- Free children’s activity packs for children
In additional to the family zone the Foundation will launch a match day creche from the 26th January v Carlise United.
There will be a drop off service inside the crèche, where you can hand your child over to a DBS checked member of staff. All staff have qualified teaching status, safeguarding and first aid certificates. Activities provided inside the crèche all meet the requirements of the EYFS curriculum in a fun, safe environment.
Drop off and collection points are at the entrance of the Children’s Centre and opening times are as follows – 2:30pm – 5:00pm.
*Please note you will need to provide proof of your match ticket to the crèche staff if you wish to use the crèche facilities.*
Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
