Port Vale FC have confirmed that loan striker Idris Kanu has returned to parent club Peterborough United.
The move will come as no great surprise with Peterborough owner Darragh McAnthony saying the striker would return to the Posh.
A Vale statement confirmed:
The club can confirm that Idris Kanu has returned to Peterborough United following his loan spell at Vale Park.
The young striker made a total of seven appearances across three competitions for the Vale this season, with his most memorable moment coming against Exeter City back in September.
Kanu scored his first ever Football League goal at Vale with a last minute equaliser against The Grecians.
We’d like to thank Idris for his efforts during his spell at the club, and wish him all the very best for the future.
