Port Vale miss out on non-league striker signing?
The Just Football website says that Crawley Town have beaten off competition from Port Vale and Grimsby Town to sign a non-league striker.
The website claims that Crawley will complete the signing of striker Ricardo German when the transfer window opens on the 1st January.
The former Chesterfield youngster is top scorer for Hendon this season and has also attracted interest from QPR, Cambridge United and several National League clubs.
German, aged 19, made his Football League debut for Chesterfield while a teenager but was released when the Spireites were relegated from the Football League.
The striker has hit a remarkable 21 goals from just 24 starts this season and is currently top-scorer in the Evostik Southern Premier League.
