Port Vale draw Shrewsbury at home in Checkatrade Trophy
Port Vale have been handed a home draw against Shrewsbury Town in the third round of the Checkatrade Trophy.
The draw is regionalised between the Northern and Southern section and fixtures will take place week commencing 7 January.

- Sunderland v Newcastle U21
- Accrington v Bury

Southern section
- Southend v Portsmouth
