This photo shows a Port Vale attack from a commendable performance at Liverpool’s Anfield stadium in 1964. The photo shows Valiants striker Jackie Mudie forcing a save out of Liverpool keeper Lawrence. Port Vale managed a hugely creditable FA Cup fourth round draw at Anfield watched by a huge 52,000 crowd. Unfortunately, Vale were to lose the replay 2-1 in front of 42,000 at Vale Park.
