The Altrincham FC website reports a career landmark for former Vale player Simon Richman.
Richman progressed through the Vale junior side to make the senior side. He was named young player of the year in 2008 and totalled 48 appearances for Vale.
The Altrincham site reports that:
Assuming he plays on Boxing Day against Stockport County, Alty midfielder Simon Richman will be making his 300th appearance for the club.
Richman was signed by former Port Vale manager Lee Sinnott in 2011 and the Altrincham site adds:
Summer 2013 saw him as an integral part of the Great Britain Universities’ team which won the silver medal in the World Games in Kazan, Russia. His energy in midfield is an important feature of the team. Outside football, Simon has a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Manchester. To date, Simon has made 244 starts and 55 appearances from the bench. He has netted 23 goals.

Could have made a big impact at Vale if he had not suffered injury and gone on to play at a higher level.
That said has had 10 great years at Altrincham who are now back in the National League altho simon has picked up an injury at Hartlepool and will probably not return until 21.
Always look out for the Vale result still fond memories especially beating a Tottenham team that included Danny Rose Townsend
and a few others who made it to the first
team.FA YOUTH CUP 2007.
