Port Vale injury list clearing as key striker is set to face Oldham
Port Vale have delivered some largely welcome injury news after confirming that striker Tom Pope could return against Oldham Athletic.
Defender James Gibbons and midfielder Luke Joyce have both recovered from knocks and are set to take part in the Checkatrade game against Middlesbrough B.
However, the biggest news is that while striker Tom Pope will not be risked on Tuesday, he should be fit to play against Oldham. Pope is making a good recovery from an ankle injury.
Manny Oyeleke and Cristian Montano remain some weeks away from contention while loan striker Scott Quigley also remains sidelined.
