Former Port Vale defender Lawrie Wilson switches clubs
Former Port Vale defender Lawrie Wilson has moved on loan to National League side Maidstone United.
Wilson was snapped up by former Vale manager Michael Brown at the start of last season. However, his spell at the club was short and unsuccessful with the right-back losing his place after seven games.
He did not appear at all in the first-team under Neil Aspin and on the 9th January 2018 he joined National League club Ebbsfleet United.
He made nineteen appearances for Ebbsfleet last season but has only made two appearances this campaign prompting the move to Maidstone on an initial month’s loan.
