Tyrone Barnett set to leave Port Vale for Cheltenham loan
Local press reports from the West Country suggests that Cheltenham Town are set to sign Port Vale striker Tyrone Barnett on loan.
Barnett was transfer-listed in the summer and Neil Aspin praised his attitude in pre-season training. However, the manager said that only clubs of National League North standard had expressed any interest in signing the player.
Now a fellow League Two side have expressed interest, it is more likely that the striker will move out on loan.
Barnett signed a two-year deal in 2017 but managed just two goals in 28 games last season.
The Gloucesteshire Live website says Barnett is due for a medical with Cheltenham on Thursday.
