Port Vale alter ten ticket deal after criticism from fans
After comments from the Port Vale Supporters club and a poll on OVF showing that 83% of voters disapproved, Port Vale have changed their ten ticket deal.
The club was heavily criticised after the ten ticket promotion was eligible for the Bycars stand. A poll on OVF showed 83% of voters thought the offer was wrong. To their credit the club has now extended the offer to all home stands.
A statement said:
At Port Vale Football Club, the fans are the beating heart. You’re the 12th man and your support is what drives the team forward even more to securing three points on match day.
We want you at Vale Park, week in week out, which is why after careful consideration and taking on board your feedback following the release of the original Ten Match Package deal, the club can confirm that deal will now be open to ALL home stands.
As a club, we want to see Vale Park filled with fans every time the players step out onto the pitch all wearing the badge with pride. We feel reviewing the Ten Match Package deal and opening it to all stands as an alternative to a season ticket, is the best way to achieving this.
Valiants, this season it’s time to #LetYourselfBelieve.
