Police appeal for Port Vale fans to identify troublemakers
Staffordshire Police have appealed for help in identifying several individuals (we hesitate to call them “fans” if they are potentially involved in violence) involved in violence at the Grimsby Town v Port Vale game.
A police statement said:
Staffordshire Police is appealing for help in identifying eleven men following a series of disturbances during the football match between Grimsby and Port Vale on the 10th March.
The incidents took place at Blundell Park in Grimsby and following the game, a joint investigation into the anti-social behaviour was launched by officers from Staffordshire Police’s Football Unit and Humberside Police.
If you recognise any of the individuals captured on the CCTV images, who are thought to be Port Vale supporters, please call Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 431 of 19 July.
