Louis Dodds scores as Port Vale hold Wolves to a draw.
An own-goal and another from Louis Dodds earned Port Vale a 2-2 draw with Wolves on Tuesday evening.
The Valiants included trialist Tom Conlon who went close to scoring with an early chip. However, Vale did take the lead through an own-goal on nine minutes.
The visitors, who included former Vale loanee Donovan Wilson, equalised through a free-kick before Vale re-took the lead through Dodds. An entertaining first period saw Wolves draw level just before the break.
The second period was less entertaining and chiefly memorable for the visitors making eight changes on the 71st minute mark.
Port Vale: Hornby, Gibbons (Rawlinson 63), Legge, Vassell, Montano, Worrall (Trialist 76), Joyce, Conlon (Tonge 66), Hannant (Daniels 72), Dodds(c)(Kanu 66), Quigley

Good result for our kids, apart from Ruddy and a full back who hasn’t played much.
