Former Port Vale goalkeeper Joe Slinn has reportedly signed a one-year deal with Walsall.
Youth team graduate Slinn was offered a professional contract last season but never made a first-team appearance before being released at the end of the season.
He spent a spell on loan with Stalybridge Celtic last season and has also lined up for Rushall Athletic during this summer’s round of friendly games.
According to Twitter account ADPFootball, Slinn has now signed a one-year deal with the League One side.
ADPFootball describe themselves as having “experience of playing football and also coaching at the highest levels, ADP has been able to utilise their vast contact list to design and develop the ideal pathway programme [for players].”
