Former loanee Ben Whitfield offered new deal by Bournemouth
Port Vale loanee Ben Whitfield has been offered a new contract by his parent club, Premier League side Bournemouth.
Whitfield was subject of a £35,000 Port Vale bid in January 2018 and was out of contract at the end of the season.
Midfielder Ben Whitfield has also been offered fresh terms at the club…
There was speculation that Whitfield could be moving on from Bournemouth with Lincoln City also linked with the forward.
However, the contract offer was confirmed on the official Bournemouth website (“midfielder Ben Whitfield has also been offered fresh terms at the club” – AFC Bournemouth website) and the player now has to choose between staying on the South coast or rejecting the terms and moving elsewhere.
Whitifield made 40 appearances last season, scoring four times, for the Valiants.
