Kyle Howkins hints he could welcome a return spell at Port Vale
On loan West Brom defender Kyle Howkins says he is enjoying first-team football at Vale Park.
The giant centre-half has been a success since joining on loan in January.
I am really enjoying it. That is what I want to do, I want to come on loan and play…
However, the centre-half has been affected by a knee injury in recent games, making his return in the 1-0 win over Lincoln.
He told the media: “Hopefully my knee feels good after this game and I can carry on in the remaining three games.
“I am really enjoying it. That is what I want to do, I want to come on loan and play.
“With the situation there you never know what is going to happen. I will just take it half a season at a time with the loan windows.
“I just want to finish this one strongly and then go into next pre-season flying and just go from there.
“I am 21 now, I am getting old. I need to be out and playing proper football. Maybe a couple of years ago I could have stayed at West Brom but now is a good time to come out and start learning.”
