Where are they now: Neill Collins
The strapping defender is still playing football (or should that be soccer) in the USA…
Prior to Vale
Collins started his career with Queens Park and rose to prominence with spells at Sunderland and Wolves. He moved to Sheff Utd in 2011 where he played just over 200 games.
His Vale spell
Collins moved to Vale on loan on transfer deadline day 2015 alongside midfielder Francisco Junior and winger Mohamed Coulibaly. Collins played seven times for the club.
Vale games: 7 Vale goals: 0
Post Vale
Following his departure from Vale Park, Collins returned to Sheff Utd as Nigel Adkins replaced Nigel Clough. He was released from his contract in March 2016 and signed a two-year deal with Tampa Bay Rowdies in the USA. So far he has made 39 appearances, scoring twice.
